Well, after much Smashing, Wolf has emerged as my main. Actually he's been my main for ages now, just thought I'd let the word out. Actually, I'm just mind-numbingly bored. Point being, Wolf, for all his slow movement and crap running, is actually decently overpowered. Loving his side smash for it's far reaching awesome aside, I've managed to find a PLAUSIBLE use for his entire moveset, a task I was hard pressed to complete with other characters. Online play is...interesting. Overseas play is...not altogether wonderful. Provided my opponent is local, no one else is using their bandwidth, and I'm not playing on FinalD, my connection fairs all right. This snippet of gaming life has been brought to you be me. Yay.

I played, SSB: Brawl for the first time today, and fell in love with it. Although I had hoped to play it earlier (before it came out :p) I still had fun in my six hour marathon. The lack of wavedashing, lightsheilding etc barely phased me, I was too overwhelmed by awesome. Whilst there are definitely many characters worth playing, Metaknight stands out with his awesome agility and flight making it easy to combo and go after the smashball. Sonic, who I was looking forward to handles like...well...a hedgehog. Glad to say the clones aren't too similar, although the assist trophies and final smashes fall into pretty clear categories -_-. FS's include "Instant KO on one player" and "Swarm" and assist's "Sword/fist", "Distraction" and "AOE" with the occasional oddity. Still, that's my only gripe, otherwise it's the best damn fighter EVER and possibly the best GAME ever as well. ^ ^ Oh, and they toned down some of the characters awesome, but they destroyed Marth T.T. Can't have everything, but Brawl comes pretty close ;) .
Updates may follow my next play session Thursday week, not that anyone reads this :p.

Hey NGers.
Over '07 I animated plenty but there was little I considered posting, and even less that I did post (only one, in fact). Over the next year or so I'm working on my most ambitious animation yet. The piece is entitled "The Grey Spectrum" and follows a group of special ops soldiers striking a mysterious base known only as "Thirteen". What they find there-in is far more sinister and cliché than any of them could ever have imagined. The script and characters are based off a story written both by myself and a friend of mine. Most of you (if indeed any) would know him as Venzael (He hangs around on Kongregate, among other places ;D ). There's a good chance I'll be working on a number of side-projects as well but none will be as awesome as I intend this to be. It is the first >real< animation I've done full-body and ought to be the longest I will make for some time. Hopefully you'll enjoy it on release, I'm putting a lot of effort into this shindig. Included is one of the few graphics finalised at this stage; one of two Rugers wielded by the ops agent "Threads".
Cyas round.
